Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

So I finially get to go out and put some miles on my brand new sled yesterday. Rode the trails and rode up to the Boulder cabin just after 2 o`clock. Guy with the black cat and black helmet you could of killed me or I would of drooled the rest of my life. The trail is 14' wide and is 2 way traffic always. If you can`t keep to the right hand side 7' you are going way too fast. I have rode up that mtn. 100`s of times in the aft. and I know to stay way right always, good thing I was.

Luv the new sled, tippier, trying to get used to it and break it in, almost 70 lbs. lighter than the dragon. Maybe I need a orange flag when I ride now.

.....oh and there was 6 ft. of snow on the pole.

Just wondering why we were charged $10 for trail fee today and the trail up to cabin was the roughest I have ever seen? I'm not looking for trouble ... Just wondering .... I'm sure there is a good reason ... Thanks

If they only charged on the days when the trail was 'perfect' then they wouldnt have enough money to support the groomers. Plus theres a maintained cabin stocked with firewood at the top.

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

They might of thought they could get 2 days out of a groom. Apparently not. More snow and cooler temps will help.

Here is a bit of a breakdown of your trail pass fee.

Right off the top take away 12% for H.S.T.
10% goes back to the club for cabin and trail maintenance and improvements.
Payments on machines and equipment.
Repairs, parts and maintenance for machines and equipment.
Insurance.
Fuel.
Wages.
Maps.
Signs.
Snow removal from lots.
I know I`m forgetting some.

..........and office, website, advertising, attending snow shows, travel for meetings.

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

we rode boulder on the 26th and 27th. the trail was in good shape for early season riding when we were there. the snow conditions were great and only hit a couple stumps that did no damage. cant wait for next trip and hopefully be able to ride from peaks.

here is a clip from the weekend
