so last week-end was only a couple of a-arms, this week-end should be interesting with big fresh dump with no base. I'm guessing ole mother earth may reclaim back some iron ore that was mined to manufacture some a-arms. so ride safe and for those that end up being a statistic, posting up a picture may release some pent up anger:d.

ferniesnow, here's some useful info over the years the ratio is about 4-5 right hand kills to 1 left kill. can you guess why? real easy answer.

Is it because of the preference to sidehill on the right handle side? Which is most people's dominant side as well as the easiest becuase of the location of the throttle.

I usually alternate a-arms. Think i've replace one more on the left than right though. Only went through 1 last year :), but the other is starting to bend.

I thought people preferred sidehilling on the left side? Thats where I started out the best, now it doesn't matter.

I should design spare A-arm holders for sleds, I dont need spare belts, haha.

smokedave, i thought those turbos were light on the front end on full boost.. i'm to guess that you were doing a right hand countersteer, and hooked into something hard or you backed out of the trailer went forward and hooked your drop door at full throttle. hopefully that wasn't on the first day of the week-end.

Unfortunately I'm not yet acquainted with the names of each bowl in Boulder :d. I'd be interested in seeing that footage if you could!

I will be posting the video, probally sometime this weekend. It didn't turn out as good as I had hoped, the quality is excellent,I just had it pointed down to low.I got great shots of the sled and the impact...now I am going to have to watch it again.
I would have it up sooner but I need to learn how to edit,it is in a 23 minute clip.

I'm left handed and can side hill better on the left but really just as good on the right,I see what you mean though as my riding buddies are usually reluctant on some to the lines I do on that side of the sled. Now I have ammo for stuck fest 2011 with a few buddies :beer::beer:
