Didn't you rip off the front end last year on the Fording Pass?? Could have been too early in the season with baseless powder?
https://www.snowandmud.com/forum/206/cattaract-creek-3295-18.html

I was up near there on Dec 28 (3 days prior to your ride) with a buddy getting firewood at 6500 ft and there wasn't 8" of snow.

I'm just sayin'...... :)

I can see the simularities between Cattaract and Revy:rolleyes:
I as posted back then will never ever ride there again. The farthest east is the Crowsnest and when I say Crowsnest I mean from Fernie and that won't be till later in the season as in Jan.-Feb.

well smokin, i keep watchin the 14 day forecast and revy is finally going to get below normals. it's a coming and nothing is wrong with a early ride, at least there wouldn't be a wasps:eek:.

Cataract snow levels in Jan = Revy snow levels in early Nov. A rock is a rock. Just my opinion, but its not like I ever lived in the kootenays.....

Well, let us know how the ride goes then, will be looking forward to pics, hopefully you don't have any carnage.

They are still calling for the freezing level to be around 3000 m by the end of the month.

Well with the way mother nature has been with the hottest day of the year on the first day of fall here in Calgary at 34.5c. I am starting to have doubts about the 10th. I am still a hopin tho. Trust me if I hear there is snow me and my GMC are heading west.
Every year I get so antsy it seems like summer goes on forever.
Well when I do get out I will post pictures as I will with every ride I go on this season.I have just purchaced a new vid cam so I will post some vids too
if it ever snows.

Cheers,
Dave

I have to agree though, the weather doesn't look like its on our side.

besides sunday, they are calling for rain every day in revy. the 'highest' low is 6 (snow uptop :) )... dont give up the dream Dave!

Hey Steve,
If Mother Nature thinks I have given up she is likely to do the opposite.
Just a hoping and a praying for a dumping.
