Judging by the sled being the RTX, im going to assume your riding mostly hard pack trails. Do you have scratchers and if you do, do you have them down on the hard pack?

I agree. Scratchers are a must for the Nytros on hard packed or groomed trails. I think the RTX is also missing the small tunnel cooler that the MTXs have so I suspect cooling would be an issue on these. I put scratchers on mine and the temp light hasn't come on since. They also reduce wear on you slides as well.

Last year a stud went through the heat exchanger... The light came on but seemed to run fine so we had my friend put a new heat exchanger in it but then the oil pressure code came up I found a pinched wire on the oil pressure sensor... Then it went to the dealer lol they r sayin it needs a head gasket but what's weird is it will idle there for 20 min and not overheat but as soon as u put the cap on u have problems... I've heard of presurizing the cylinders with compressed shop air and testing the cooling system pressure but no water in oil or white smoke... Is there any other ways to test head gasket I'm picking it up at the dealer tomorrow I think I'm gonna look at it myself

exactly same issue as you. Stud thru heat exchanger(fixed) and now throwing code 30,oil pressure drop. Not sure what to do now.
