I use the 20,000 lb ones. Mine is white with sewn loops. The yellow ones with the hooks will break if you got to give it a good jerk.

30' nylon 3" good for 20K. Any more than that is overkill and just starts to become bulky for storing in the truck. Peavey Mart seems to have decent prices on them as well.

The super big tough looking ones are too hard to stretch.
The best thing about these straps it's the way they stretch then recoil...
Pretty cool to give a big pull and watch the strap, "snatch" the stuck unit out.

If it's for "work" you might want to make sure they are rated, unrated for work application might get you in trouble if one ever breaks and some one gets hurt. I get mine at either Continental Chain off Argyll or King Sling in Nisku and they are load rated.
Just sayin (rated will have a load rating tag stitched into the sling/strap itself)

3" x 30' is what we used for many years. Still have a 4" that I use but it has no give. You want something that stretches. And like everyone said NO HOOKS!

I have a 2" 30 ft. from princess, they go on sale quite often if your into saving cash when you can.
Nice strap IMO , plenty strong enough for 1/2 or 3/4 ton to yank out whatever.
