my dad had an old 440 everest,maybe around 1981? it was pushing out around 150hp with all the mods he did to it!!!

His has around 190 200 hp and the only thing left to do to it performance wise was nitrous or a turbo
Did your dad run it on the pavement ?Theres 2 780 bigbores in town here that are fast ,but get beaten to death in the hills.

The guy that built it for drags ran in on a asphalt track but we always used it for riding around here

Don't know much about Drag racing....but current Snow Drags in Kelowna last winter was won by a 174 mountain sled. Hookup with the longer track?
Put the TSS shop and Powederlites Doo entries both on the trailer......open mod was won by Chris Banser, 174x2.5 Boost-It fueled Alpine Turbo, Nytro Mountain sled....Then he took it the same way to Revy the next weekend to rip the Big Pow....no Changes.

So yes :)
