Not running right after rebuild

Hi! Id like to say thanks to SnowAndMud community for all the help Ive received with all my newbie questions. Having a resource like this helps those of us who dont know what we're doing the confidence to try.

Just finished a rebuild on a 2012 ProRMK. It started, no weird vibrations but the dash did not come on. I noticed RPM was a bit low. Then she sputtered out. I restarted a few times more or less the same thing. If I gave her gas she would start to build rpm but then die instantly. If I let her idle she would sputter out. I usually run the non ethanol resistor so I tried the ethanol one since I premixed my fuel in the tank. Everything was starting to get really smokey in the garage so I havent dug too deep yet. Where should I start??

Did you put the fuel lines into the correct holes? I know they can go into either one. Have you connected all the electrical plugs in correctly? Double check each plug.

i labelled the fuel lines prior to disconnecting so im pretty sure those are right. but i didnt prime the fuel line thinking itll prime itself during the first few pulls. Is it possible theres air in the fuel lines?

just checked all my connections are plugged in good, maybe a broken wire in the harness? forgot to mention that the headlights wouldnt come on either during idle

I believe it was a set of fouled plugs from me leaving a bit of oil on top the piston. Seems fine now.

I think that connector is for the digital wrench.

What pistons did you end up going with?

i went with wiseco pistons. figured the lighter weight pistons would be good for reliability. I know they need to be warmed up properly
