No reverse... Grrrrr

Went to back my 13 Pro off the deck tonight and my reverse does not work. It does not even try to slow the engine down.
I had a quick look at the wires and they all seen ok and connected.
Anything I can check quickly myself?
I rode last weekend and everything was fine.

Is the sled idling where it should be. If it's anything about set idle I don't think it will even try to go in reverse

Maybe try tapping the switch, maybe it's sticking???

The switch seemed to move in and out properly.
I'll just have to drag it around this weekend and have a better look under the hood when I get back. Maybe the TPS is out of adjustment one guy says.....

Could need a TPS adjustment or maybe moisture in the TPS connection. Dry it out and throw in some dielectric grease.

My bet would be that there is moisture where the PERC button plugs into the main harness down by the bottom of the steering post. Get it into a shop to dry out, and I bet it will work. Take all the plugs apart and put in some dielectric grease. It will probably even dry up and work after you ride it for a bit!!

Well, dragged the sled into the trailer, rode fernie all day and still no reverse.
Dragged it into the trailer and drove home. Drive the sled out of the trailer and figure" what the hell, let's push the button and see what happens."
Yup, reverse works,,
So I think I will pull the hood and clean, grease up the electrical connectors.

This happened to me a couple times on my '12...I pulled the connections apart, blew them out with air, dielectric greased them and voila...no more issues. That little pouch that houses all the connection plugs is a moisture trap. I'd pull all of them apart and give them all a once over!!

It could be the TPS, but in my case the TPS was calibrated correctly at the time.

Ok so I had a look at all the electrical connections. All were clean and dry. I added some dielectric grease to every connection under the hood.
I also thought "what the heck, let's check the TPS calibration."
So I powered up the ECU through the connector in the baggie near the primary clutch, back probed the TPS signal wire.
Well, it was .979v. Supposed to be .940v.
I checked the base setting and it was .779v. Spec is .7v.
Adjusted the TPS until the base was in spec, turned the idle screw until it read .940v and buttoned everything up.
Presto, reverse every time and a nice steady idle of 1800.
I hate not being 100% sure of a repair but I did the best I could!!
See the picture of how far I had to move the sensor for a voltage change of .079v.
