Who is sending south for you?Except for truck under four years old that go south , still getting good money for these used trucks !
I'd consider letting my 15 6.7l go south.

As an alpha owner this makes me happy. I buy my sleds based on performance and what I think will work best for me, but it is a nice thought knowing the resale value might not be in the tank on them.I called down south on the kijiji 13200 165 alpha it was a dealer and out the door price was 15200 including all taxes and hidden costs and only 1 year warrenty....some trickery in selling these alphas they better be lowering the price a lot more or they will be still sitting on the mono rail in show rooms this time next year...
Unfortunately for you like all the manufacturers that have left overs so does Cat with the Alpha. Until they are all gone, and rebates will make that a reality your used sled will have a lower normal resale value. As an alpha owner this makes me happy. what dealer was this id freak outI have a friend that was denied warranty on a 2018 mountain cat when his primary clutch exploded (common and well documented problem). The warranty claim was denied because he had aftermarket spindles and rear skid. Beware of warranty after year 1.
Is that why he sold it?I have a friend that was denied warranty on a 2018 mountain cat when his primary clutch exploded (common and well documented problem). The warranty claim was denied because he had aftermarket spindles and rear skid. Beware of warranty after year 1.

time to visit a different dealer
Did cat ditch cat care for 19? Now they claim 4 years factory warranty. And I think I remember the dealer mentioning that when I snow checked mine. Not the dealer. ‘Cat care’ aftermarket warranty.

Sometimes cat care sends one of there guys to check it out.The dealer would have had to have taken pictures of the spindles and skid to send to cat care, neither of these have anything to do with the primary so YES it was the dealers fault. Any respectful dealer would make sure cat care saw and got info on only stock parts that pertained to the claim. I dealt with ****ty cat dealers before, I know how this can happen and I also dealt with an awesome cat dealer and know how they can avoid it.
Extremely lucky to talk to a BRP service rep anymore on the phone. Its all computer generated case files now pretty much. I'd be happy to see a service rep show up at the store once in a while. Back in the day they would have reps do service schools all over western Canada. It was great as you could look at stuff firsthand, have all the yearly changes explained to you and why and then have a few pops after with the rep and make friendships that usually worked in your favor when ever you had to get a customer a borderline call.Sometimes cat care sends one of there guys to check it out.
