Ya I'm a doo guy. Should work great. I had an o1 zx that I had rigged up with the 06 800 riser and bars with xrs throttle block and kill switch. All fit fine. Been meaning to do it to my RT but just settled for a five cent windshield rubber shoved under my kill switch, so you actually have to hold the kill switch down to kill the motor.

I have an elastic band wrapped around at the moment, BUT, if i dont hold the switch down until the motor stops turning, it sometimes goes into reverse....

Looks good man. I know where your coming from, absolutely hate having all that extra ch!t on the handlebars... On my 600RS its just the throttle and brake lever, love it!
