Think wifes sled may be sold this weekend. (08 Phazer MTX) looking to get her some different to ride for about the same value. Looking possibly for a 600-800 cat or polaris, but it needs to have both electric and reverse, and nothing older than 2006. Tossing around the option of another Nytro for her but stock other than track upgrade. Leaning this way just cuz I hate to go back to buying and smelling injection oil, never rode mine stock so not sure if she would like the handling less or more than the Phazer. The Phazer is just to hard to manuveur with only 80hp, and it bothers me to watch her crest a hill on the trail at 5km/h. I dont want any more bombardiers in the shop, done that too many years. What years of M7 or Dragon 700's were avail. with both elec. and reverse if any.
Thanks for your input

Hi
My daught drives a 2001 600mm with reverse & electric start she loves it, it has about 115 hp with a 141" x 2" track & it works great in the mountains and on the trails. She just loves the sled even when I offered to buy her a 2004 viper with more power. We ride the mountains quite a bit but were not extreme riders this sled can get her into a lot of areas but not into to much trouble which I prefer, shes a very good rider and can ride with a majority of the guys up their she only 17 . I installed the reverse kit and electric start for under $1000 myself. GOOD LUCK

I know you mentioned no bombis but I think the 600 etec would be something to consider... Or another yami 4stroke but newer lighter and more powerful.

07 was the first year for reverse on the M series, electric start was only available on the 600 (06 was the last year for the M7)
My wife rides an 07 M8 and loves it, pretty tough for her to start until it is up to running temperature though. She started riding on a MM600 and it was a reliable sled but if you do any riding in the mountains and love to see her smile you should look for a current chassis. Don't know about the starter option on the Dragons but Polaris had electronic reverse in 03.
