Any Hunny's looking to get out to the mountains, Saturday the 23rd, is a great time to do it!
Small group rides, mixed/mens/ladies, with some instruction for new riders and people to help you learn and dig you out! Open for all ages and levels of riders, with new riders being the focus of the event.

BBQ hosted by the Golden Snowmobile Club, Beacon training with Hangfire Avy and demo rides at the Cabin with sleds from T&T Power Sports, Bruce's RV & Polaris and Mountain Motor Sports.

Dinner and prizes at Firepit BBQ Smokehouse, everyone welcome! Great rate on rooms at the Travelodge.

Meet at the Quartz Creek staging area at 9. The day will wind up around 4-5, dinner around 6-7.

See you there!!

don't really matter anyway, they want riders, i,m a faller offer, more than a rider so i don't qualify.

better to post dates = less confusion.

Thanks for pointing out the date omission imdoo'n. And this event is for 'faller offers' more than riders. ;) lol

I'm assuming that GSR will be bringing avy gear/backpacks, etc with them along with the sleds to the staging area? I just want to make sure that we don't have to stop and pick anything up from there that morning!

Touch base with GSR Taryn, but I understand the sleds are getting taken there...but make sure on the avy equipment - that they throw that in the truck too :) If you're in town early enough, you could swing by and pick up your pack/gear too then you have it ahead of time to get your stuff in the pack.
