I was wondering if anyone could answer my question?
my wife's 1997 polaris indy trail needs a new track and I was wondering if a 488 fan would have enought power to run a 1.25 or 1.5 track also where is a good place to buy one and how big of a job is it to change?

Your wifes sled should handle either one. Is it a long track or just a short track? Does it go to the mountains are just run in Alberta. To change is a major job. If your mechanically inclined you shold have no problems. You will need to remove the suspension, chain case, driveshaft and put all back together. Brgs on the driveshaft should automatically be replace when you have them out. To remove those brgs can be tricky a couple of different ways to do it maybe someone more famiilar with Polaris can help you with that info. Find a track and get after it If your not sure you can do it take it to someone who does. Imaybe you have a friend that has some experience that could help. Good Luck
