End of season deal, couldn't say no to. Had to drive to Lethbridge for it, but pretty happy so far. Will post more pics later and will need some marine education over the winter :beer :

Thanks.... Saw some decent deals on pontoons in Southern AB, and not badly priced for end of season. Looking mostly on FB market place and Kijiji

drain a little oil out of the leg and make sure there's no water in it. I drain mine every year just to be safe. cracked leg isn't cheap to replace. a liter of gear oil is.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
If I have been boating 300 times, I’ve had good times 298. Fun times include almost sinking, breaking down many a time, caught in a storm or two it’s all an adventure. The two bad times were incorrect passenger selection. Passenger selection is key.
I also have a separate cooler section called “dude beer.” This is the beer that got left out in the hot sun for weeks, the year old skunky beer or crap that no one drinks. When a mooch, and there are many boating mooches, the crew knows when someone says “get dude a beer” which beer to hand out. The dude beer game is a hit and everybody gets in on it. Except the mooch of course.
After thousands spent at repair shops, I learned to work on the boat myself. It was cheaper and didn’t break down as much. I recommend this to all. Cheers and enjoy!
