Hi all. I found this site while researching a purchase. Well now that I've bought the sled I had to come back. There seems to be a great amount of info on here, and I'm sure I'll be reading for a while.
First let me say introduce myself, my name's Devin. I live in Northridge, California(southern California) but ride in Mammoth(northern California) It looks like alot of you are from Canada but hopefully I can find some people on here in my neck of the woods. With the new sled I really hope to get out to some different places.
I'm not new to snowmobiling, been doing it for 20 years. But I've finally bought myself a "modern" sled. I used to ride an old 94 polaris indy trail and then a 96 polaris XLT. 2 weeks ago I bought a 2005 skidoo 1000 summit highmark:d:d I LOVE that thing. I've taken it out 3 times now and don't want to stop riding. I'm looking forward to learning about this thing. As just going to the local shop to get a part for an old machine I've already found out a ton of stuff I didn't have a clue about on the 1000.
Being this is snow and MUD....here's my other passion. (kind of an old picture, this was right before I began work on the tubing/cage, which is now in)
