So the other day I bit the bullet and bought a new summit 163 3 inch from bow ridge in Cochrane. I own a 2013 pro 163 that used to have a 860 big bore but has since returned to stock. I have been on the poo wagon since I was a kid that is all I have ever owned. But after some very disappointing rides where I had been towed off the mountain almost every other ride it was time for a change. What a wicked change it has been! These sleds are unreal. The t3 pulls so much harder then that pos seven letter ever did its ridiculous. We put 330 km on in 3 days this last week, was done my break in mode at the 250 km Mark and this sled just absolutely amazes me!
Sure there are some things about the pro that I think I will miss but the more I ride this thing the less I care about how it side hills, because who needs to side Hill when u just turn up Hill and go over the top!
Anyway just some thoughts on changing brands. Here's hoping to some good luck with this new summit. And looking forward to creating a new relationship with bow ridge so far so good!!

I did the same switch, haven't looked back. If you're looking for that smooth sidehill, check out the 174, for some reason it sidehills better than the 163, nice and smooth and doesn't wash out.

Yes bowridge is a great dealer .I'm a poo rider myself and am trying to get my buddy who is a cheap ass too upgrade. I found him a deal on a used 14 163 X package es 750kms for 10k. Sled was probably 16k new.

Good choice! I have helped a few clients move over to that dealership due to job relocation and such... I dont like to lose ANY customers but when I do I sure like to make sure I refer them to the right place! Nothing but good things come back from them!

Might need to change your S&M user name too now. LOL. I switched from a 13 pro to a 15 T3 and couldn't be happier the last 2 yrs. I'm not bashing poo's but blowing my driveshaft with 36kms on it ( before the fix came out) put a bitter taste in my mouth. Everyone always argues about brands but if you are happy with what you are riding who cares what people say. Can't wait till 2018 to get a new 850!

A Friend of mine also switched from poo to a doo, He has had a few electrical issues with his 16 axys. The sled has been in the shop a number of times in the 300 km that he has on the sled. When we were in sicamous last week, the throttle stuck on him when he fired the sled up. The sled ended up in the trees and bent his lower a arm .So he rented a t3 174 for 2 days. after he returned home he purchased a new T3 174x and sold his axis. also all sleds should be equiped with a tether, in my mind its a safety issue.. just saying.
