looking at getting a sled.
either getting a 2006 summit for $4500(us) 1750 miles and importng it from the states or getting either 2006 m7 with 3500km broken front bumber and no hood for $4000 or a 2005 m7 2700km looks like a really nice sled for 4900.
is there any major problems with the m7? beside the bogging out at 6500-7000 rpm. and what is the best deal for the money.

and shorted the ecu

A friend of mine has an 06 M7 on for $4000 OBO now. 9000K on the motor, so a top end is a must. Just throwing it out there.

One more vote for the m7 ... LOVE this sled nimble, quick, light its a great machine that will take you places you shouldnt be in. Also the 700 laydown motors are dam near bullit proof if you dont mod the hell out of them. I know of a few 7's with well over 6000kms on them and they havent skipped a beat and are still goin strong on original top end.

mine has 5000km with original top end and comp was up @ 134 each cylinder with no visible scuffs on pistons (that i could see thru exhaust ports).

had an m7 for 4 years absolutely loved it!!!! only blew a whopping 1 belt with that machine only issue I had was lent it out to a buddy who I think was pissed cause he put coolant in the oil and oil in the coolant needless to say my motor ceased but my extended warranty covered it and had a new motor put in sold it after I did a port and polish with billet heads now some other lucky guy has it. my vote is for the M7 awesome machine great handling and damn near bulletproof

The 06 summit seems like a pretty good buy as well. I personally like the rev's but the m7s are pretty solid as well.
