Got a damaged ski and was wondering if i should stay with the 6.9s or upgrade to the Ds or Ds2? Off a 08 summit.What are your thoughts?

Upgrade to the ds2, those pilots 6.9 are terrible. night and day between the two of them.

Whats soo good with the DS2? And whats so bad about the 6.9s?

The ds2 feel like you have a easy steer kit on, the 6.9 fights you when your countersteering they want to pull straight. Had the 6.9 on my newest xp they lasted 3 rides went to the ds2, my other xp has slydogs alittle more heavier steer but not near like the 6.9. I feel it's that little outer keel on them that makes them feel so Bad.

IMO the doo 6.9's are the best ski out there. I bought c&a's 8" mtx last year for a little more floatation and hate them, way to aggressive for me. My son is using sly dogs 7 inch and i didnt like the feel of those either. I havent used the ds2 but i wound not say that the 6.9's are terrible. Ive used a few different skis in the last few years and the doo 6.9s are the best yet. IMO
