New rider

I just purchased 2 atvs. Im fairly new to it other then when i went camping with my firend and used his machines. i own a yamaha grizzly 700 and a grizzly 550 for the gilfriend and was wonderig what are some good placed to ride and what are some good rallys to go on since i dont really know other ppl to go with and would like to meet fellow riders. Ive rodden alot in chump lake near caslan Alberta which is great riding but im sure there are other great places.

Welcome to SnowAndMud! A few of my favourite places to ride are up in SwanHills, I have a hunting spot up there as well. Great for trails and mud.

The Martin Hills area is good too. Haven't been in a while.

Nordegg has some good stuff. Theres a few trails that connect to David Thompson resort.

I also like Trapper Lea's cabin. In the spring is the best time to go there, mud and water everywhere and you usually find a lot of good people. By far my favourite place to go. Make sure you at least go on the center of alberta trail and trappers loop once!

If you like sand, Vega (in fort assinaboine) and Brule lake.
