If you click on the little white scale at the bottom of each person's information (under the name and avatar on a post) you can rep them. Your rep is the green tiles with the stars above. So many squares gives a brown star, so many brown stars gives a silver star.:d

Once upon a time I found a way to do multiple reps, and see what the comments were on my rep, but I can't remember where or how.

Is there a limit to amount of rep you can give? and does it effect your own rep?

Thats how you add rep to someone...the amount you give depends on the amount you have.... the more you have the more you pass on.

the green/yellow bars increase everytime you get repped, when the bars are full they will drop down and a brown star will be added, once you have 4 brown stars they change to a silver star.....and so on until you max out at full bars and 4 silver stars....point system max's out at 2147483647 points which apparently is the binary definition of 2 gigs..................

Daily limits... it will tell you when you've been rep-slutty and will shut you down for 24 hrs....

the more rep you get the bigger your rep hit on others.... giving rep does nothing to your own rep levels.....

Only "special" people can give red rep.

we're not allowed access to red rep... Natzi-system....

Abuse issues.... we are free however to hand out as much green rep as we want up to our daily limits.

In the absence of red rep, the report button is a usefull tool (little red triangle). when you report a post each and every moderator gets private message detailing the nature of your complaint.

Given the love-in rep situation caused by people who easily get thier feelers hurt when given a red reputation slap.... the only recourse we have is to NOT rep those who would normally recieve red rep....

Site sponsors have the ability to red rep, so if it is important enough to you you can bribe a site sponsor to hand out red rep on your behalf... there is a flourishing underground market for this...I owe Lexy a case of beer and pack of smokes already....
