How wide is that boat? Pretty cool to own a piece of your family’s history! But honestly think your grandfather would like you to upgrade to a couple of LSX or lt4’s lol

Too funny! Actually on its maiden voyage I backed off the trailer in front of the ferry and realized my steering was reversed…. Oh man, it made for an interesting day as I had no time to swap it, just had to suck it up and drive that thing…backwards lol

It’s 8’ at the bottom! I don’t know if it does need any more power… I’ll give you some numbers after water test 2 but I’m thoroughly impressed and I’ve only taken it to 3000 on both motors…. She flies!

Smiles all around!

I’m very happy! And It turns right around in half the width of the north Saskatchewan if needed!

Well with spring around the corner… I am trying to get ahead of it for once!

I had the upholstery department at Outlaw Eagle Manufacturing in Red Deer make up some awesome covers, tarps and captains chairs for this project!

The same bar mounts on the hull are used for a 3 piece camper top setup that uses its own set of bars making it 7’ standing room inside. It’s a clear windshield extension section, a second section to the end of the passenger compartment and then a third section over the engine bay for sleeping.

The camper top and bars are in that black dry bag.

Side windows zip out of the center section roof.

Bedroom area has roll up privacy flaps in the windows and a rear roll up for access to the swim deck.

I’m honestly impressed with the new tops and how all the pieces work together… zip in windows, roll up back window…

I ordered some aqua teak floor mat for the engine covers and some stainless louvered vents to get it looking a bit cleaner... I have a diesel heater to install, some interior/engine bay LED lighting as well as a few USB accessory ports to wire up... that will make some overnights a bit more comfortable...
