Hey everyone, just sayin hi. I'm from Manitoba (saw your site on Hardcore sledder, which is really big out here) I used to live out west (10 years in Alberta). I'm riding a modified 07 Polaris IQ 600 CFI. It's now outfitted with the walker evans shocks, 2" paddle track, mountain bar, riser block, removed sway bar and a bunch of SLP stuff. It's pretty much a dragon now. Although most flatlanders are into trail riding, manitoba gets a ton o snow, and there is a lot of places to go boondockin. Chest deep snow some years.

Was hoping to do a mountain trip this year, but with such questionable snowpack (and such a long drive) we've opted out. Hope to ride out that way soon though (springtime?) maybe I'll end up ridin with some of you.

Live in Winnipeg... mostly ride in the interlake or at Sprucewoods (near Carberry MB.)

I lived in wpg until two years ago, and i miss all the groomed trails, and whipping from gimili across to grand beach, and the fact that between every rural bar there is a groomed trail.
welcome!!

Yes... I think you are right on that one... definately a friendly website you guys have going on here. By the way, whats up wit the "casino cash"? Is that like a rating system, for how many posts you have?

Those are cool air time pics'. Originally from the west side of the Riding Mtn park and agree that just about every small town bar is connected by a good groomed trail network. My first sled was a '91 Indy RXL and pretty much needed to redo the shocks every year after some hard ditch banging and jumping. Back then it was a pretty good ride but compared to sleds now a days what a stone boat...lol. Welcome to the site...

Hey man, thanks for the comments on the pics. West side of Riding Mtn huh? Thats one of the areas I've wanted to go riding in. Should be good riding, lots of hills & variety of terrain. That and directly south of there in the Pembina valley (around Carman.) I went mountain biking in the summer out that way, and was surprised at how hilly that area is.

NOW, if we could just get some snow this year. Usually about this time of year at my parents cabin, the snow is chest deep. Right now, not even up to my knees. And all the good riding areas are packed solid. Later
