Why do you think there was a fake shooting in New Zealand? Look what's happening down there.

That program is going to cost them alot of money. They are buying the guns off current owners????? But thats what gun control does, it cost taxpayers money.

You have a better chance to get struck by lightning then get killed by a licensed gun owner. This is 100% is not about stopping crime or safety it's about disarmament of the sheeple to a tyrannical government.

more laws mean nothing to your criminal element, how about real hard time for gun crimes, a stand your ground clause may get some legs. something needs to change, maybe gun smugglers should see some serious jail time. something

Absolutely. It seems like daily we are giving up rights. It's not going to be long before we are a communist state very similar to China. People are so blind to what's happening because they just don't think it could happen here. No matter how many people you explain this to, none of them seem to get it. It's astounding how many people think the government has their best interest at heart

I couldnt agree more. And when trying to have this conversation with people they get mad, call a guy a pessimist, anything that doesnt agree with the government is a conspiracy theory and just cant be right cause the government cant be wrong.

Another thing that I've noticed that all the people that say the west is such a terrible structure/place/ thing.... sure arent leaving the west, they've got it too good here. ..

I am definitely getting tired of the death by 1000 cuts... might just have to vote left and get the landslide coming, sooner its here sooner it can be fixed.

More people will die of fentanyl overdose this week than will die in the whole year from a registered firearm. And again next week, etc etc.
The government has no problem creating more onerous gun laws at rediculous cost, but turns a blind eye to a much more serious and deadly criminal problem.

From this report ending 2018

[h=1]Toronto pulls trigger on 'gun buyback program'[/h]

[/FONT]

The City of Toronto has launched a gun buyback program, offering residents money and protection from illegal weapon possession charges in exchange for turning in their handguns and rifles.
The program, launched Friday by Mayor John Tory and Chief Mark Saunders at Toronto Police Headquarters and ending May 17, will pay $200 for a long gun and $350 for a handgun — if the weapon has not been used in a crime.
