I got em for skiing but I am thinking using them while sledding is going to be fun.

It is open source and Android driven as well so there will be some smart developers out there creating APPS for different sports. It would be pretty easy to get maps plugged in a use them for navigation. Only a matter of time until there is a good Sled APP.

I sled to get away from the phone and stuff. Plus it works with Android, and really who the heck doesnt have an iPhone?

Will it mess with a beacon while sledding or skiing?

Hmmm, one mans opinion. I like high tech stuff like this and I ski 60ish days a year so being connected keeps me away from my desk and on the hill more. Where I sled for the most part there are not any cell signals anyway. So all the bluetooth phone stuff won't work. Navigation and stats still will though.

Sorry One EYE, I have a JOB that requires my constant attention. A JOB is work that you do and someone pays you money for that work. Just thought as a West Kootenay guy you might need the definition. Have fun at Shambala this weekend.

I like the idea of the camera vs a gopro type. Way too many people loosing their go pros.
