n hual a fith wheel and still carry somthing in the box, your not having to worry about hitting the cab when you turn or buying a expensive sliding hitch...if you want to load a camper, there are lots of lite weight campers and you can still tow a trailer....more room for quads, bikes and stuff.....do they park as easy no it's a truck.....

And leaving the tailgate down doesn't chip the chit out of the paint. Ps I own 2 other trucks with 8' beds and this one is just as versatile.

The way the top of the tailgate is contoured makes it so the rocks on gravel roads hit it more square and chip it up. Not so bad if you drive slow though.
