New doo scratchers

I have a set of the small ones that I see doo has been mounting to the front of the sled (well front of skid)

Anyone have these? Are they working ok? Just wanna know before I bolt them on. Apparently they can handle reverse

they are kinda useless .. they pretty much tuck under your track and don't throw much snow .. if you can add a spacer to mount them out further they would work better i bet.. or bend them

They do handle reverse, so far so good anyways. Put them on my wifes summit 800. As for the bending can't see any sign of that. They do look a little weak for some real hard packed trail conditions to make a difference but have yet to encounter that situation.

I feel just the opposite; they work fine. My skid was chuck full of snow the other day and I had them down all day. That was the first day I had them down all day. Yes, they work in reverse. Maxwell put a little heat to them and a custom bend and they worked better for him.

i used mine early in the season on my T3 when the snow was low and trail rock hard, i never had cooling issues but others in my group did, 154 no scratchers, cat with scratchers and poo's with and without. i think they work ok for cooling, i have no doubt there are better ones out there but they work pretty good imo

I think they work just fine and handle reverse so far. I like how far forward they are mounted most aftermarket ones can't get that far up. If the trail is really soft they become less useful as the tip is not that large and the down pressure just makes it sink into the snow. I think with a tip redesign these could be the best scratchers around but even as they are now they work fine. You may encounter issues when running whooped out single track in ice hard snow but that's it

I installed them on my '14 163x2.5" and on the first trip the left broke off on the first day right where the coil starts on the rail side. I will be installing a new set as they did cool it down on low snow trails.

I just know what the guy behind me told me and he said the new scratchers they put on my T3 163 were throwing up lots a snow. I think a guy could mount a set to his ski's, just reverse which side they are on and mount them with a longer bolt to the ski mount bolt and run them on the inside edge of the ski, if a guy felt he needed even more snow thrown up to help cooling.

The t3 with no wheels in skid, needs snow coming in at the front into the holes between the drivers and skid tips to start to lube the sliders.... That's the ticket to keep them lubed and cool

i put mine on last week and i think they worked awesome on the trail, they up enough snow dust and small pieces to keep the sliders lubed up and the heat exchanger temps down
