probably end up buying out the lease and wait til the cummins HO go on sale like these ones are.......... but they're still sharpening their pencil on this truck..... I have til tomorrow when the lease is due, but even then, they said they'll make a call to dodge and get it extended to as long as we need ;)

If your 06 has been good to you, hard to get rid of it isn't it? Especially considering the chances of getting a new one that's a lemon.

ya you might as well wait until they release the updated engine, it always bugs me to buy the latest and greatest knowing there is better around the corner or not knowing and the newer and better comes out.

Made the jump and bought the big black dodge........ There will be a complete update kit available for the 2011's to upgrade to the 850ftlbs, but they weren't sure of the price yet, or what's included, but it is nothing internal of the engine, as it's the same longblock ass'y as the 650 ftlbs engine

Download the photobucket app. Then you can add pics to photobucket right off your phone. There will be a "i" click it then touch the link you want to copy then open s&m and paste it in your reply. Pretty easy!

The new in dash are nice. I ripped out my factory nav and installed a kenwood dnx 9120 I think it is. Wanted better nav and reverse camera and iPod Hookup. Pretty lame the Base model stereo had aux input yet the high end nav didn't.

My laptops not compatible with Iphone so I just email pictures to myself. Find the picture, click the icon in the very bottom left choose "Email Photo". Viola.

you should be able to load the nav program into it then.
i am not sure how good dodges is but the one in my Ford works pretty good. have been to the US, and all over alberta and bc and all roads are onit
even the campgound roads in most campgrounds are in it. we went to siebert lake last fall 35 km of cutline/logging rd to get to the lake and it was all there was very impressed.

Can't see it, and if it does exist or the upgrades are already done to the older trucks I asked my dealer this the other day and was told NO, there is a new torque converter and crankshaft vibration dampner, along with a new PCM. This is only mentioned on the cummins HO not the older engine. The new HO only has 800ftlbs not 850!! I don't know who told you that and if it was the same person who told you 850 than there is probably no kit going to be avaliable, and from what I understand the 800ftlbs of torque is ONLY avaliable in the auto tranny for now, the torque rating for the 5speed is still 610ft/lbs.

the standard transmission will only be 800 ftlbs, but the aisin 6 speed will be 850 ftlbs ........ My 2011 6 speed aisin is 650 ftlbs........

The aisan is in the cab and chasis not the pickups!!

Yep. And it's a 6 speed standard, not 5. And there won't be a upgrade kit available, there is many changed parts and it's just not possible.

But getting extra hp/torque is so dang easy. Remember there is a reason a lot of the highest mods cummins are 12v's.......Stock numbers mean nothing.

Unless someone in a dealership can back up their words with something on paper, don't believe a word of it. I have yet to meet a salesman who knows a single thing about the trucks they are selling....Half of them were probably selling shoes the week before.
