I bought Stomper 2 at an online black friday sale. Got the call today that, in fact, they don't exist so I can't have them. Good work Motorfist.

Needed new boots , thinking stompers, liked adrenilines, decided to do a little re-search and came up with the best bang for my buck. Went with the Columbia Bugaboot plus 11 XTM Omni Heat from Mountain Tech Equipment, they are light, comfortable and rated for -65 ( I will be happy with -30 ) I am pretty sure they will be way better than my older Klims , best part .....159.00. Will find out sat if they pass the test.View attachment 162525

Back in the day when we did not have a good selection of boots besides sorel etc, I bought snowboard boots. I will never buy boots with lace hooks on the side again. The will rip holes in your seat and scratch up the tunnel. Lesson learned. I have HMK with the Boa system. I like em. I have heard good things about the MF Stomper boots.

I wear 1000 g insulated itascas in mossy oak from canadian tire . I never had warm comfortable dry feet sledding before i bought these . There basically a full sized muck boot but a different brand , cost me 65$ on sale . I tried kilm , mf , hmk an a few others , i couldnt find any that i liked . They were definutly all to short and stiff for my liking .

I know canadian tire doesnt hate snowmobiles . They sell random snowmobile specific items , i guess im safe .

And another call today saying they received more than they were supposed to, so now I do get my Stomper 2! Still don't have a 6" drop Class 2 ball mount though. Can't win em all.

Can't be too cheap to sit at home because you broke your ankle wearing boots with absolutely no support.

Unless you are built like tractor

I can't believe the reaction I got from you over my ignorance in the politics of sledding, buy a pair of boots and I'm destroying the sport! It may be hard for you to believe but I do support our sport, actually if you new me you may even be surprised how passionate I am about the sport. How ever I do own 3 pairs of snowshoes and was a very good skier in my younger days. I guess you can really tear me apart now. Guess my 300 dollar Columbia ski jacket has to go too, I appoligize and end this right now so you can go save our sport. Good job. I always thought informing was better than bashing. Also I appoligize for being a moderator cause that makes me bigger than life for sure.. Have a nice evening!

I know exactly how you feel. I have 3 North Face jackets. I directed our company to buy them as promotional items to give to our customers and have purchased over 120 of them in the last 3 years. A few weeks ago, I find out they suppport the groups trying to shut us down.

I am not going to apologize for mistakes borne out of ignorance but i am certainly not giving North Face another cent.

Stopped in at Cycle Works on Acheson today. They just got some Stomper 2's in yesterday. Scored a pair in my size for 35% off. Good deal I thought.
