NADP does not build the trannies. They are a NAPC tranny which uses all Suncoast parts which is one of the best after market diesel transmission builders in the world. Say what you want about NADP but I'll tell you this everytime I have had to deal with them about my problem they have been stand up. I have no complaints!!

From the prices I seen my buddy paid for a DPF delete, and some other crap, they could replace parts 2-3 times and are STILL bending you over. And when they were installing the stuff his turbo was leaking oil in the exhaust and there were like "O ya that's fine, there's no problem with it!" Instead of not putting the parts on and saying to go get it fixed, turbo only lasted a few months, and guess what no more warranty with aftermarket parts!

And the biggest problem, to many of them don't know ANYTHING. There is a good reason why most guys buy everything out of the states even if it costs the same or sometimes more in the end. A lot of a company is warranty and how it does things, not just the product. And yea, NADP trannies are crap. I wouldn't put one in my truck if it was free. Not everything is the parts they use, it's how it's put together. Goerend is a much better tranny anyways.

A few years ago I tried to get them my business multiple times (can't believe everything you read), had to see for myself. I get pissed off quick when the person knows less then me, yet thinks he knows all. Didn't know anything about the products he was trying to sell. And when prices are double what I can buy stuff elsewhere for, and when their attitude is "buy stuff or fawk off". Tried three times over the course of two years, all different people each time with pretty much the same end result. Me being pissed off and not giving them a dime. But I will say the last time the prices got better, but still way to expensive.

Getting tempted to join the club of people with "NADP FREE" stickers :d

Search NADP up. I guarantee you'll find 5 unhappy people for every 1 happy atleast. The only reason they are still in business in edmonton anyway is the oilfield is booming and lots of clueless people with money. No one who does research and is informed will go close to them.

Well I am one of the five Happy customers then. but seeing as my transmission is pretty much a suncoast, i can live happily with that, i know suncoast is one of the only ones who has put the R&D into the 68 RFE.

Not sure how you can be happy being on your 4th tranny? Clear that it is a POS that won't stand up and a issue that most others have. But you are lucky if they are doing them under warranty, they love denying it to most people which is a big part of the terrible reputation.

Thats only if you got the auto. If its got the hand-operated-multi-ratio cog-swapper I'm pretty sure they just get the same clutch they had in the 2010.

And the manual trucks still have the same 2010 power ratings (350/650) as well so it is a moot point anyways.

No mention of improvements in fuel economy either, sounds like another Dodge/Ram/Fiat "lipstick on a pig" upgrades.
