Windshield is moved forward lots. And the rear of the boat is angled for better reverse. Sure there’s more but I think that’s the main difference

They are putting the little four cylinder turbo eco boost in them with Hamilton

Supposedly 200 lbs lighter then a 5.7 350 with same performance.
Time will tell I guess ? Sit back and watch for a couple years .
Does it work better then a 350 ? Probably not but it’s new right ? Lol

If I was building one ? I would do the same .
But nothing out there at this time that will replace the sport jet for weight so will continue listening to the hum . Lol
Weight is weight.
Boaters expect to much out of the SJ .
Keep boat light and small if you want to do that type of boating .

Bow angle, bottom width, side height, beam, transom design, shorter bow more cockpit space, lighter, faster.

Its gunna be a fast, agile, light, shallow water boat with a 6.2. The 6.2 is right around 177lbs heaver than the ECO boost engine. I am a V8 guy and could care less about the extra weight lol I have a winch.... It will go any place a 17 foot SJ boat will go except will have power and thrust and mileage oh and reliability and that V8 sound !!!!!! The sport jet is dead, the ECO rips.
