We bought the Yamaha Nytro for our work sled. The four stroke reliability and long engine life with a strong warrenty was unbeatable for us. Tow hitch and stratchers installed at the dealer. You can get very nice sadle bags for your tools a pull a trailer for the generator etc.

Buy a hold over from the dealer and you cant go wrong

Ah… leaf spring suspension. Just like on my Polaris TX. Don’t get me wrong, my TX is fun. It just rides like a lumber wagon. At least my TX has an excuse for having outdated suspension. Its 34 years old.

That there is a good idea. That's probably the way I would go if I needed a work sled.

Skandik SWT, 24"X156" track, you shouldnt be stuck too much. 800 4 stroke low gear, you won't go anywhere fast, but you'll be able to haul your holiday trailer.

you know what! laugh at the bravo all you want!

I purchase 2 new ones every season for my work crews. price has gone from 2500$ to 3000$ BRAND NEW.

these guys beat the living pss out of them.....havent spent a dime....get the job done....dont get stuck....haul alot of cargo...you could lift it in your truck yourself....

painfully slow but i know they cant do to much messing around and are actually getting work done when driving them...

however this is clearly not your situation haha

other than that i would go with the nytro like mentioned.....could add a turbo no one would find out!!

ps..sx700..they dont make the sx700 for a reason anymore...wana race? uphill?

So I have to choose a new snowmobile for work, gas plant operation.

I am out of the loop with these type of units as mountain riding is my style.

It has to be capable in the deep and capable of carrying a small amount of tools. Plus has to be able to keep up on the fun days with my Boosted M8:d

Has to be tough, for riding cutlines etc.

Has to be a new off the show room floor model.

Any suggestions?

were is the sled going to be used, hauling in truck/trailer or from plant site. how much do you have to haul, how far, price point, etc more info needed. can hauled tools etc be towed behind in decked out sleigh?

Not much to haul really a battery for boosting engines, etc. Small amount of hand tools. Price point as for most oil companies these days is the cheaper the better. Just have to make a valid case for whatever I pitch to them. A nytro is in the lead I think. Most of the time when it needs to be used it is because nothing with wheels will get there. Unless it is fun time, then I got a trailer, deck etc.

yah but thats a classic sled! and everbody that rides them likes them! and if they changed to say wishbone it would look even uglier!

So you are mocking one brand of sled with "old" technology, but another brand that has even older technology is apparently liked by everybody?? You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Pull your head out of your behind. Yeah the Bravo is so classic it belongs in a museum. Wishbone suspension is, quite literally, decades ahead of leaf springs - "Hello Yamaha? Yeah it's the 1970's calling, we want our suspension technology back."

Do you even read the stuff you type? I don't care about your faith or whatever your religious choices are or judgement day or Jesus or burning in hell or your dreams about owning a Nytro, I'm not here to tread on your faith or dreams, all I care about is your serious lack of sled knowledge and mis-informed opinion.

Welcome to the real world.
