Need contact info for great mountain riding destinations

Hello all

So my good friend and I are on the ultimate boys tour, going down to Washington to pickup a sled for myself and a sled trailer for him, we have 3-4 days of ride time after that May 2-6 ish. I am looking for some help on where to ride on the way back.

We were thinking of a day or 2 of riding in the states and then back to BC, if you were me where would you go?

I have never been in the mountains in the states how do they compare to southern BC? I know most of them are a lot higher. Is the snow as good as revy/ sicamous areas?

LOL - powder might be a pipe dream if the temps keep up. Also it will be May. Any other year I'd say it's surely possible but this year the temps have gone way up and so has the freezing level. Pano-dude was saying that it was 15 degrees at 7,000' the other day. With temps that high on the hills, not too much powder around, you might find some in Valemount, but you'll have to go up pretty high to find any sort of powder or fresh snow for that matter. This warm spring is killing the snow fast, I was hoping for a mid-late May ride but I'm not sure that will even happen this year now.

There are some really nice areas in Washington to ride, you might want to detour to Cooke or something maybe, its probably still sick this time of year.

Yeah I realize powder might be a tall order at this point, but if there is some we are going to try to find it.

7cm new today in Whistler. Not much but still should be getting the odd flurry.

We still have a week before we can ride will travel from Colorado to BC. We are going to find it!
