need clutching help or gearing help to beat xp???

so how did that helix work for you? i know on my RMK 700 155 i was pulling 93mph top speed. friend of mine with a done up up xc 800 short track was barely getting away from me.

Hey polaris lovers out there, I need help on gearing or clutching my 09 800 iq, I have been racing a buddy with a new xp do, who says he is stock{which I'am not sure} but he seems to be beating me everytime, It is about a sled length. My machine is stock except for the can, so any help would be greatly appricieated. Also It is a 800 shift rmk...thanks!

I just raced an xp this weekend and was pulling away from him before he let off and all i have is a clutch kit and a can

I have the same sled(09 800 shift rmk) and so far the only sled that can beat me is my buddy's 900 rmk. The only mod on mine is a can,he has all the race stuff on his including NOS.Now if I put his wife on my sled(100lbs lighter) he has to turn on the bottle to beat her,so most of the time,it's the weight difference that makes the biggest difference.

Wow thanks for all the feedback! even you doo guys, just an update since i last posted i put the helix in, and i really didn't notice too much until i went up against another sled, Man! It really seems to pull way harder in midrange. My other buddy has a new assult and the races we had aren't even close, really spanking him bad. Now with my buddy with the doo! I have to say the helix did the trick so thank you. We are still really close but with me winning most of the races. The sled is awesome to ride and i love it, I was just wondering if anybody out there would have 144 2 3/4 out there to fit on my shift, or if they even make them for the 144.
