i would wait until your mover hase the trailer loaded on his dollies, and then just pay....nothing they can do then, its in your possesion again and your trailer wasnt originally what was impounded. jus a thought
Glad to hear things worked out for you. I was quietly watching this thread and the moral I got from this story is always hire a reputable mover to deal with something like this in the first place.
dude, there are so many fly-by-night companies out there that will undercut those that do everything by the book it isn't even funny. we run into it all the time, guy calls, wants heavy machine hauled and when I give him a quote he says "well, X says they will do it for this much..." well then, go hire them. about 3 times out of ten we get a call to go pick up the load either at a scale or on the side of the road somewhere. can't blame a customer for trying to get the best deal, but you get what you pay for. well, sometimes...lolGlad to hear things worked out for you.
