That’s absolutely amazing. He has a lot to be proud of. Just showed the Hendrick jet descending into North Wilkesboro airport then hop into a helo and be at the track shortly. NASCAR extended the start time 15 minutes tonight to give him extra time to get into the car.

Gibbs wins the Open, Bubba second and Gragson won the fan vote so they will race tonight as well

Hee haw what a wild ending. Logano won leading every lap but had to earn it at the end. Best part was the Stenhouse/Cryle fight after the race. I think Cryles head will be hurting tomorrow.

Talladega or Daytona? Which one is the one to attend? Any one on here been? Guys I worked with down south swore Ricky Bobby's track was best entertainment wise and went every year. I am planning a trip to one of those races.

I was at Daytona in 2001 the year Earnhardt got killed. I was actually disappointed in the race. The track is 2.5 miles long so watched most of the race through binoculars which gets old after awhile. It was a bucket list trip but I’m not going again there. Talladega is actually 2.6 miles long so would be the same type of race to watch. However if you were to camp in the infield they say that’s the best experience on the circuit. If not I’d probably go to Daytona. Better accommodations and more to do in Florida than timbucktoo Alabama.

Good to know Ken. The guys I worked with in Louisiana went every year and camped in infield at Talladega and raved about what a good time it was. They probably watched race on TV in their motor coaches lol. Never thought about length of track making for bad viewing. Maybe we will pick a different race. Nashville possibly

Oh you’d have fun in the infield at Dega. Just don’t tell Joy! Haha! Vegas or Texas would be a good race to go to and close. If you like golf Phoenix is a great stop as well.

Kentucky was great. Lots of tailgate parties and they all were quite hospitable. Vegas, if you're into the BIG SHOW. Phoenix was okay, we got rained out, so I can't say exactly if it was great. Texas was a lot of fun. We could bring in our own food and drinks as long as it fir a certain size cooler. Didn't matter how many. lol
Bristol I hear is a hoot. Might be our next one.

Who’s watching the Indy 500 and the Coke 600 tomorrow? Looking forward to watching Kyle Larson attempt the double tomorrow and wish him luck.

Tyler Reddick will start from the rear and serve a pass through penalty at the start of the race tomorrow after in approved changes to the front spoiler. His car chief is as punter from the grounds as well for the weekend.

Well in an interview from Marty Snider at Indy Kyle has stated that the Indy 500 is the priority today. So the question is….whose going to drive the 5 car till he can get to the track? He stated he hopes he can run both even if they are on different days but weather will decide the outcome.
