For those wondering why Clint Bowyer was not in the broadcast booth at Fox’s broadcast finale last weekend in Sonoma he has come out on Twitter to explain the personal issue he has been dealing with.
Apparently on his drive home from the previous weeks race from Gateway he hit a pedestrian on an off ramp and that pedestrian died at the scene. Clint was cleared of any alcohol at the scene and the woman he hit appears to have been high on meth as a meth like substance was found in her possession. Bowyer has asked that the media respect his family’s privacy at this time.
