He forgot to weigh in so they could weigh the car properly. Hamlin and someone else were black flagged as well, came in weighed up, adjusted the car for the drivers weight and went back out but Stewart refused and had to go to the Nascar hauler after practice.

Harvick acting all tough with Logano with his helmet on after the race. Must have gone to the Jeff Gordon school of fighting?

Well....."knockout" qualifying has started and already a start and park car has put some notable drivers in a tough spot. Expect Bowyer to be fined by Nascar for his derogatory remarks after the wreck. However well said Clint! Who needs this crap for qualifying on a restrictor plate race? Isn't the Duels on Thursday enough carnage for Nascar? Like he said....the crews work for 6 months making the cars as sleek and as fast as possible then someone out of desperation wrecks all that.

Well Gordon is on the pole with Johnson beside him. Some of the most riveting qualifying I've seen in ages as everybody sits on pit road for 4 minutes inching forward, backing up to there buddy exchanging pleasantries before someone finally leaves so they can race to the start line before time runs out for a qualifying lap. Nascar needs to seriously have a look at this. It works at all the other tracks but not at restrictor plate tracks.

I don't think there will be any punishment for his comment... No inappropriate language there just frustration. However if anything he might get punished for getting out of his car after the wreck before the safety crew arrived. Remember, that's a new rule now.

I don' t think Nascar likes to be criticized on National television. Will be interesting to see for sure if anything comes of it.

The qualifying format definately favoured the big teams as all the Hendrick cars and Gibbs cars as well as the Childress alliance got in the final round of 12. The Ford guys apparently can't get along and were on there own agenda and it cost them as they were very fast most notably Stenhouse and Almirola but got knocked out by running apart. It will be interesting to see if Nascar keeps this format as the fans on Sirrius this afternoon are screaming bloody murder.

Hamlin and Earnhardt to the back after failing post race inspection. Track bar issues for Hamlin and car to low in LH front for Earnhardt.

A lot of people up and down pit road weren't happy about it......Kurt Busch is another one that voiced his displeasure.
