Phoenix is a cool track - kind of odd but less so lately. I remember when they had a section of the outside wall that seemed to stick out to allow traffic to get out of the infield and everyone would hit it (that was a good while ago)

i really wish all those 1.5 mile tracks had more character, after watching Martinsville last weekend i wish there were more short tracks

I agree. When I first started watching the sport back in the mid 90's I hated the short tracks and the road courses. Now they are the most exciting because of there designs.

Rubbing is racing. I really wish there was a short track out west. It was a PITA to get to Bristol and Martinsville looks just as bad.

Here's your top 10 starting positions after qualifying today at Texas: 99-2-48-27-18-20-88-24-17-9. Congrats to cousin Carl on his 2nd pole of the year!:smilieicon_ford:

why are the Ford's not performing in the last while? is Rousch/Yates loosing their touch? Hopefully Carl's pole is followed up with Ford's being up front when the time comes.

I think the motors are there but they are struggling with the chassis. I wonder how much Roush invests back into the teams?

it probably is the same scenario as brp. they have emotional attachments to certain components and will never completely start with a clean slate. it's just bandaid here and bandaid there. lets try this and lets try that and it just always results in a second place finish. polaris on the other hand it like hendrick. always cutting edge technology and not scared to make wholesale changes and that just keeps you in the #1 slot. your turn Ken! this is gonna hurt.

I'm shocked that you would associate a top level company like Polaris with a cheater cheaterton organization like Hendrick? But it does make sense. A few years ago in a magazine weight weigh off the Polaris entry seized the motor after the weigh in because it had no anti freeze in it. Lmao!! Your turn Trev...

But no engine change and no going to the back for Carl yet. Man those Ford engines are durable and 8th fastest in Happy Hour with no fluids. We are viewing true dominance..... You up for some more? Lol.

Yes I know. I'm on pins and needles. What do you think of Garone poaching Truex's 56 team pit crew for next year? You gonna stay with the car or follow the driver to the House of Horrors? Lol.

I think alot of fans are waiting like a kid at Christmas for the mid season report for SHR next year. I think with 3 personalities like Harvick, Busch and Stewart things will get very interesting over there.

3 pitbulls. but only one partial owner pitbull. Harvick I can see because I think tony has been railin' delaina for some time now. now he won't have to go as far to find her. Kurt, not sure on that one!
