Childress was deemed in the wrong...banned from pits...

I'd love to see the youtube video of that!:d Was a different race today - not alot of lead changes - good on brad to win - would have liked to seen Jr win - still hoping! Not sure - seems like Jr has changed - after race interview - seemed like he couldnt get away from the camers fast enough - think he'd be a little more camera friendly ???

That suprised me too about Jr. but I just figured he was just disgusted that he suposedly had enough fuel to get to the end and then after running so hard the crew cheif came on and told him he needed to save a little with only like 5 laps to go. kinda frustrating when you were told you were to the good side on fuel and to go get them. Its coming he just needs to keep his head up and keep trusting his team!

So Nascar fined Richard Childress $150,000 and put him on probation till Dec.31st for his part in the big dustup this weekend at Kansas. The Shrub got nothing! It was the second largest fine in Nascar history. WTF is going on with Nascar????? What happened to boys have at it????? Who else thinks that Nascar has way over compensated for something that happens more than we hear about?:confused::confused:

Bush did the same thing he is on probation for, post race antics, and no penalty. What a bunch of bs. He was warned by R.C., dont hit my race cars, drivers ok, not my cars. He followed through with his threat, bet he will think twice next time he is a "tough guy" on the track, there is a tougher guy when you get out of the car.

Harvick said if he is going to continue being an egghead at the track he is gonna have to learn how to fight instead of hiding behind his crew members.

I'm not a Kyle Busch fan by any means, but come on you guys.... This guy is what Nascar has needed since Dale Earnhardt. We didn't have the villain in the black hat. Busch is the closest thing we have. Everything got so robotic and sterile that ratings were starting to tank. A few dust ups after races and people are interested again. Working according to plan. ;)

there is a BIG difference between being the "rebel" in the black hat and just being an a$$hat!!!

So what you're advocating is cookie-cutter, sponsor friendly, yes-men robots who never get out of line?

We don't get to choose our villains, so we have to hate who we've got...

Of course not! I think that's why nascar started the whole have at'er boys. What about Ryan Newman? or Jaun Pablo? they are not cookie cutter even Smoke will speak his mind (he even sluged a promoter in Austrailia whith his helmet this summer) being an owner now may have calmed him down a bit though. Part of me wants to like Kyle Bush but then he's an arogant prick and I remember why I don't like him. I think he needed to be put in his place a long time ago and his atitude would be a little different and I would probably like him now! That's why I have a number 3 tatoo and not an 18!

You're in the same boat as me then.

The reason so many people hate him in the south, is where he's from. When you get south of the Mason-Dixon, they stick to their own down there.

So first practice at Pocono is over and Edwards is the fastest. Who you guys picking this week? Nascar has determined the tranny gear ratios for this week so they say to expect the boys to be shifting in the tunnel turn like a few years back. And.... Richard Childress talked to the media about the Canoe incident last week and apparently fans have been sending him cash to help him pay the Nascar imposed fine but he is saying that he will pay the fine personally and the money sent in will go to a hospital charity that is close to his heart. What will the Douche Canoe do this week to upset the apple cart I wonder......

Good picks. Hamlin won happy hour and Johnson has been near the top of the speed charts in both practices. I'm sticking with Edwards. He's due.:trustme:

Hey boys!!!! Nothing like being late to the party for this weekends picks haha. So this weekend at pocono I'm goin with Jeff Gordon which seems to do pretty good here. My other pick will be Tony Stewart. Hope it's a good race and hopefully the canoe does something stupid to get back in the headlines..........it just makes a guy shake his head and wonder.

I will have to get some email adresses from the regulars on here for our local nascar pool next year. You pick a team for the year and run with it. I'm doing great this year so far. 6th place out of 152. Its alot of fun bugging your buddies about having a crap team.
