Was surprised to hear Martin Truex has split off from his long time girlfriend Sherry Pollex. She was the one with cancer that he raced for and won a championship. So is life I guess?

NASCAR announced new rule changes today. Here are more pertinent ones listed:
1. No more “hail melon” move like Chastain used at Martinsville last fall.
2. Rain tires will now be an option at some of the smaller oval tracks like Martinsville and Phoenix.( Not liking this one!)
3. Crew members will not be penalized as much (4 races) for loose or wheels that fall off with these new wheels.

I like hail melon 🍉, but each their own
Wish they would back 5 lugs, these isn’t F1.
Road coarse & rain tires okay, but not ovals. Weather can’t always be predicted right & the race has to go on. Travelling to these events cost lots of $ & running on Monday’s does nothing for fans that to home. Plus day race on a Monday doesn’t do much tv viewer that’s at work

When I head to Vegas we went Wednesday to Wednesday. As for Monday on TV. Can watch on computer or be sick due to missing Nascar.

We always stay a couple days after the event to guarantee we will see the race live in case of weather. To much invested in the trip not to

Im not a big nascar fan, so just wondering why you dont like rain tires?

Is it because it effects the race? Or because you dont want to sit and watch in the rain?

it slows the cars down Dan. They can’t run as hard on wet racetrack as they can on a dry one with race slicks. Plus visibility is the shits from the spray and more accidents

She was doing some sort thing for charity, forgot what it was. Different levels of $ got different things. Have messaged her on Instagram & even got replies. Plus being good looking, is a nice person.
