Rick Hendrick and Jeff Gordon held a press conference today announcing they have signed Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson to contract extensions. Rick commented he did not want to take any chances of losing these 2 drivers. Terms will be announced shortly.

Yikes! NASCAR confiscated all the wheels from Penske and RFK racing for inspection at their research and development facility. Not sure what they are looking for yet but penalties if imposed will be steep for the Next Gen car nascar has always stated.

Keselowski commented today on wheel gate and said they did make changes to the wheel for safety and once Nascar see's what they did and why they will understand.

Daytona 500 final practice is complete. Only 19 drivers ran this practice so take the results with a grain of salt.

So so Xfinity race today. Pretty spectacular wreck at the end with Myatt Sniders car being upside down in mid air and having the rear axle torn out of it as well as the engine. Debris went through the fence and ended up very close to Michael Jordan's motorhome.
