Landon Cassill has partnered with Voyager Digital Ltd. for the remainder of the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, making him the first driver to be paid fully in cryptocurrency. JD Motorsports announced the 19-race primary sponsorship deal Thursday.
Quite literally and figuratively, Cassill is investing his financial and professional future in Voyager.
“You can say no pun intended, but it really is,” Cassill told NASCAR.com. “I check my Voyager account probably 100 times a day.”

Voyager operates a crypto-asset trading platform. Cassill, an avid supporter of the cryptocurrency market, met Voyager CEO Steve Ehrlich a couple years ago at a crypto conference and has kept in contact since then. Their budding relationship is what sparked this partnership.
Checked the TV listings for tonight to try and find the SRX second race but nothing on CBS who was supposed to carry it and nothing on TSN? That royally sucks?
Kaulig Racing announced they will be entering Cup next year. Justin Haley will race full time and the Dinger at select races. Good to see growth. Not sure if they will still field Xfinity teams or not.
Watched a video earlier of Brexton Busch racing his go cart at a race. The kid was having a meltdown after another kid knocked him off the poll in qualifying. His mom was trying to calm him down saying he would start 1st in his heat race but he wasn't having none of it. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Kids like 7 yrs old and already a whiner like Dad.
Some big surprises after practice yesterday in this mornings qualifying session. Congrats to Aric Almirola on winning the poll for todays Nashville race. Here are the top 10 starters:
