You know I was thinking after all these sports are shutting down how much money they will lose? I have a pretty good idea how they will get flush again and I don't think peeps are gonna be happy.

I also read fans get a credit at the track for those races they can’t attend. Not money back.

Some of these tracks will hurt this year. Teams will forward spend with sponsor money that will have to be returned. Not good at all.

BREAKING TODAY!! Nascar has now decided in the interest of competitor safety to postpone all races until further notice. This will now include the Atlanta race this weekend and the Homestead race the following weekend that were originally scheduled to run without fans. Updates as they come. Sad day.

Sucks for you 250. Would have been a good race. We have our tix ordered and paid for for the season finale in Phoenix in November. Hopefully all this crap is over with and we get to go. Be 17 years in a row which is a great streak going.

Who's CDC Ray?

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has released new recommendations for large mass gatherings in the wake of the current spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic across the United States, and they should have an impact on when we will have a chance to see NASCAR race cars back on track again.

On Sunday, the CDC announced that they now recommend that any in-person gathering or event that consists of 50 people or more be canceled or postponed for the next eight weeks.

They are shooting for coming back May 9th at Martinsville but I think they are being pretty optimistic. Either way they want to get all the races in this year so expect some mid week races at tracks this summer and possibly back to back weekend races where available.
