Final practice results from Indy: 21-17-20-37-95-8-18-47-1-22. Denny Hamlin hit the wall hard on the last lap of practice and will go the back with a back up car.

What a wild race today at Indy! Crashes galore as everyone raced hard to try and win. Newman and Bowyer got the last 2 spots in the playoffs with Suarez coming up -4 short and Jimmy crashing out in the last stage. Kevin Harvick won the race and the Fords were all fast today. Here were the top 10 cars: 4-22-43-24-14-11-12-6-9-21

Paul Menard announces this morning he is retiring from the Cup series after this season to spend more time with family. This opened up a spot for Matt DiBenedetto and he will start driving the Wood Bros 21 Motorcraft Ford in the 2020 season. This is great news for Matt as he gets to race for an iconic and solid Cup team moving forward. Matt is a great guy and one of the most talented drivers in the series known for getting way more out of middle of the road teams that don't have the funding that the elite teams do.

Yep the whole garage knows the talent he has and he is extremely well liked. Just needs an elite team to take a chance on him. He's only 28 years old to. Doesn't wreck race cars and is a genuine person. A Cup owners dream in my opinion.
