There were alot of drivers that deserved to win the chase this year ! Drivers that had been running in top five and winning consecutive races ! 22 and 4 were very competitive ! Would have been nice to see Gordon win his last race and win championship since he retiring this year ! My hat off to Kyle Busch though - he went through some difficult times with breaking his ankle and persevering to come back and win a very difficult championship ! He should be very proud of what he accomplished !

Pretty cool seeing Gordon get his pic taken with Mario Andretti and Lewis Hamilton on pit road right before the race started. Like Dale Jarrett said....."thats a lot of racing talent right there"

Well now that's over!

Time to go shred some laps in the hills.

You got a new build? word on the street anyways?

great nascar season.....

Harvick placed second in 13 races this season.... new era record. Last one to hold that record was Bobby Allison in 1972.
18 was the last car I wanted to see win but wow what a season for that team - really quite impressive.

Was a decent race. Would like Brad to explain to me why he picked the inside lane for that last restart? Almost looked like he was trying to screw over Harvick at the cost of losing the race? Oh well congrats to Kyle. He deserved to win tonight and is probably due even though I am not a fan of his. Sorry Kimrick. Signed a 12 page legal document to keep my mouth shut. See you on the hill? HaHaHa!!

This is getting dangerously close to falling off the sticky ladder. So I'll throw a question out there. Any word if Jeff Gordon is going to go into the booth, and if so, which network?

have any of you guys camped at Daytona Speedway? we are planning a big road trip to the race in Feb and intend to camp at the track and would appreciate any advice.

OK, tickets are bought, accommodations booked, counting down the days - we should be hitting the Road in about 5 weeks. Going to all 4 races and have the fan zone tickets too

Nascar news today. Paint schemes have popped up at RPM for the 44 car? Will Brian Scott run the 44 instead of the 9? What happens to the 9? Rumors are that number will be sold to Hendricks and rebranded to the 24 car. The 9 car has been the number Chase Elliott ran in the Xfinity series the past 2 seasons and the number that his father made famous in his career. Numbers get bought and sold all the time. Robert Yates Racing sold the 88 number of Dale Jarrett's to Hendrick for Dale Jr. to run when he came over from DEI.

Nascar announced yesterday that the Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series will now adopt a similar Chase playoff system as the Sprint Cup series for this coming season.
