They say all the SHR drivers have tried Harvicks set up and only Busch can drive it. Tony said it was undriveable. I think he needs to adapt soon before everyone forgets his name.
Almost hard to believe Tony was a champion just a few years ago... he's been through a lot since then and I'm afraid he's losing / lost his nerve. Too bad, I've been a fan of his for a lot of years. He was always the most anticipated interview after a race incident! Used to love watching him rip it up in the old Iroc races.... I really miss that series.

Like Harry Hogge said in Days of Thunder, "You get back into that car your going to die". I wonder if that's in Tony's head? All he can think about breaking his leg, or the young kid to his right side that died in the crash.

Fox sports racing has a spot to request their channel for your provider. I had no luck getting an answer from telus. Here is the link to the page to request. FOX Sports Racing | FOX Sports If you enter your province and provider and they don't carry the channel it opens the request box.

1st practice over at the paperclip and here were the fastest 10 in that practice: 31-47-24-48-78-22-1-2-11-42. Chase Elliot in the 25 car ran 29th but was the fastest of the cars that ran a 10 lap average in that practice by quite a bit?

Logano on the pole at Martinsville. Chase Elliott made it in qualifying 27th. Here were the top 10 qualifiers today: 22-31-78-24-48-14-42-20-5-47

Nascar investigating strong rumours that some teams may be messing with tires. There is a concern of teams poking a pinhole in tires to slowly bleed off air pressure that naturally builds up through the course of a race run. Softer tires create better grip. Interesting that the last 2 races the 4 teams tires have been confiscated and now Harvick is no where to be seen in practice speed or qualifying speed?

The counter point would be the advantage of bleeding tires is later in a run, so it should make little to no difference in qualifying and marginal in practice. Either way there sure seems to be allot of smoke on the subject and they have taken tires from Harvick the past few races for inspection. At this point it looks like they suspect them of tampering, just havnt been able to figure out how they are doing it. Could we have another deflategate on our hands?

I agree Tom. Was thinking the 4 team may be laying low if they feel they are being targeted. But will this be bigger than the NFL version? Lol.

NASCAR is so regulated and competitive that for any team to go on a run like Harvick there has to be some monkey business going on. He is good but not that good.

Read an article on Nascar.com that Rodney Childers is aware of the scrutiny on his team but says bring it on! HaHa. They are definately in everyone's head right now. Chocolate Meyers talked about back in the day when he worked for Earnhardt and he was on one of his runs and there was talk in the garage that Nascar was letting the 3 car get away with stuff. The track promoter at the track of the week decided to stir it up a bit and announced on the loud speakers that morning that the 3 car would be going through inspection at 10:30 am if anyone wanted to come and watch. HaHa.

Final practice completed. Here were the fastest 10 cars: 41-48-24-11-31-5-22-4-19-16. I have a feeling one of these four cars will be in victory lane tomorrow, 48-24-11 or 31.

They only way harvick coud be doing it is if they only put pin holes in the first few sets of tires and not the last set as his car has been taken back to NASCAR after each race this season for inspection as he finished top 2. If his tires were flat by the time it got back to nascars shop Childers would be in big trouble.
Or is this why harvick burned his rear tires right off after winning ?

Good point? Great way of destroying the evidence
