Did ole DW let the cat out of the bag in yesterdays prerace show? When asked where he thought Biffle and Edwards would be next year he replied he thought Carl would either be at Penske or Roush because of his close ties with Ford. He then said he thought the Biff would be leaving Roush and going to another 2 car team that used to be a 3 car team as he put his hand on brother Mikey's shoulder. Mikey looked absolutely stunned and tried to deflect DW's remarks stating the Biff would be mentoring the 2 young guys at Roush and Edwards would probably be going to Penske or Gibbs. Things are heating up as Silly Season approaches.

Latest on the Edwards/Biffle rumor's comes from Fox Sports analyst Larry McReynolds. He says everything he has heard is that now the Biffle to Waltrip rumor has fallen through and Greg will now be staying with Roush. Edwards on the other hand has been rumored to be going to Gibbs as a 4th team but McReynolds says his sources say he is close to signing with Penske as a 3rd car team. This would be a good scenario with Carls close ties to Ford after they pretty much showered him with stock options and cash to stay in the Ford family with Roush at his last contract negotiations 3 years ago. Makes my life easier to....Lol.

Legendary AJ Foyt said this past weekend that he would offer both Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon rides next year for the Indy 500 if they were interested. He was so impressed with Kurt Busch at this years race he believes that both drivers could get the job done. Hmmmmm....should they stay or should they go?

Sirius Satellites Dave Moody interviewed Greg Biffle and asked if he was staying at Roush or not yesterday. He said they are working on some details and he hoped to be staying but hinted he had a competitive ride elsewhere if things didn't work out. Brad Keselowski pretty much said Edwards would not be going to Penske as he feels Penske poaching Edwards would create a rift between him and Roush and that would not be beneficial to either of them or Ford. My question is to that is ....would Edwards leaving Ford be beneficial to anyone but Toyota? Don't really see the reasoning there...

I see the reasoning.........bad brad and cousin Carl have a past history with each other. I cant see brad wanting to work with Carl. I thought I heard sometime that roger penske included brad in the decision to bring joey lagono onboard. He wanted brad to help pick someone he would/could work well with. Can't say its treated that organization bad. If roger does that again, you don't have to worry about Carl going to penske. But I've seen stranger stuff happen......look at Stewart and Busch!

Yes they don't really care for each other as well documented. Carl must feel bad about that and tried to apologize. Reports on Jayski's say Edwards was seen at Penske Motorsports last week. Lol. On another note got all the soybeans and corn seeded?
