That was good racing at the end and well deserved for BK. I think since Gordon got re married and had kids he has lost a tenth and thats all it takes now a days.

MWR today announced they will be dropping to a 2 car team next year after NAPA left them after Richmond. The 56 car will be raced part time next year and they will increase there R and D to try and stay as competitive as possible. Martin Truex has been given the green light to look for new employment.

Funny how Truex is the only driver that wasn't in on the "fix" at Richmond and he is the one that is looking for a place to race next year?????

Brian Vickers will not be racing the 55 car anymore this year as a doctor found a blood clot in his calf this week and has put him on blood thinners. This is part of the problem why he left the sport a couple years ago. I'm thinking his future is clouded?

Elliot Sadler to replace Vickers for the final 4 races of the season. Waltrip will drive the 55 car this weekend in Talladega.

Sad news this week as I used to be a huge Dale Jarrett fan when Todd Parrott was his crew chief in the old Quality Care days. Parrott was suspended indefinately from Nascar for testing positive for banned substances in Nascar's zero tolerance policy. What happened to the old Todd Parrott that used to cry when Jarrett won and thanked God for all his blessings in racing? Must have hit rock bottom?
