What a gong show. Gordon showed what an idiot he really is. Bowyer was getting close to JJ in points, not even close after the retaliation from Jeff. Great finish. Glad too see Harvick win. I'm interested too see what happens to Gordon.

That was funny, those camera guys did a good job at keeping up with Boyer through the crowds...too bad he jumped Gordon from behind, would have liked to see them face off :)

I like Bowyer, he seems like a pretty good guy, but when you think back on this season, he sure has been on the other end of allot of incidents. Jeffy blew his top, had nothing to loose, took him out real hard. To bad about the carnage afterwards.

Man, just think of the crap hitting the fan if Bad Brad got caught up in that wreck!

It was a good day for me :) (any1butjj)

I don't like what Gordon did today but face it, when we see red we don't think straight, we all do things in the heat of the moment that we regret later (except if you are a sociopath)

The smartest thing I saw today is when Gordon backed out of the gas when they went 3 wide in the corner and Johnson was on the outside of him.

.........did anyone hear Claire B Lang interview with Larry the Cable guy before the race when he said Jeff Gordon was a girl?

One thing about it guys, weather you liked what happened yesterday or hated it, that is why NASCAR is what it is today. Come on, they still talk about the fight in the grass in turn 4 at Daytona to this day. Who wants to go to a race and watch the cars roll around for 500 miles or laps and never trade paint, never battle for position, and never get emotional when their competitor takes them out of contention to win not only the race but possibly a championship too. That kind of racing only happens in fairy tales. The race and event that happened at Phoenix yesterday will be talked about for many years to come. Hope the rivalry between bowyer and the weiner lasts just as long as the talking.

I have been wondering for the last 8 weeks why i watched NASCAR. the races in the chase have been everything but exciting except maybe the closing laps last week at texas as brad tried to hold jimmie off. After yesterday it reminded me i watch NASCAR for the thrill. People racing hard, team work, and the reality. These people are just like you and i and when they get upset they will show it. I was in the living room watching and couldnt stand still, hoping somebody would punch the chit outta gordon! I felt like it was a very dick move by gordon to wait and wreck bowyer like that. Especially if you watch the way bowyer raced him. Doesnt look to me like anything was wrong. Gordon always talks about "checking up" well his senses fail him this time! Why doesnt he just say he fawked up?!?!

Like i say it was a good deal for the sport weather you want to admit it or not. People will remember this for years to come.

I think this thing between Gordon and Bowyer has been building up all season. It seems each time Gordon had a problem on the track this year Bowyer was around. 5th time Bowyer was in a wreck with Gordon this season? Something like that.

PVR is the greatest invention for watching Nascar. I usually dont watch the races till late Sunday afternoon and it takes me about 1 hour to go through the 4.5 hour broadcast. Love it.

Went to my first NASCAR event at PIR this weekend. Awsome and a fight to boot.:d Totaly lived up to its redneck image.

Boyer was the idiot, tried to spin Gordon and it backfired on him.

Gordon fined 100K and 25 points for wrecking bowyer. Still think they should have just let them fist fight it out. That would make for a good penalty
