i will step aside from my usual heated/instigating/fight starting words this once and try to be as politically correct as possible with this......:d

there are billions of people in this world with billions of different beliefs.....many of these even share the same religion but read the text just a little differently and have a different view on the meaning. i don't have a problem with any of these people or their beliefs....i only have a problem with the who cant be open minded enough to accept what others believe with out judging them.....(cough joey)...and yes by thinking i will go to hell because i don't pray, or believe in Jesus, you have just judged me.

i will never say anything against someones religion unless provoked, nor judge you because you believe, so don't condemn me to "your" hell because i don't live by your rules and ask for forgiveness for the things i do that your god may not find acceptable

Ummm, the tumors were all there one day, gone the next. That's some pretty speedy remission.
Oh my God

just to play devils avocate.......where was god for the hundreds of thousands who weren't so lucky? i personally know people who were prayed for and didnt make it

does god work in mysterious ways, or does the human body work in mysterious ways?

or mistaken MRI results.

Then I'd say that the specialists that we rely on for medical knowledge suck. Which i do not think is it. As read in the family's blog, several specialists and doctors at the Stollery conferred about this. Being known for one of the best medical hospitals anywhere, I'd say that's not a likely answer.

We will see I guess doctors cannot explain it but maybe you can. Maybe it was a rock and some dust. I believe it was God that performed the miracle.

As for the money statements it is not Jesus asking for the money. It does however ask us to tithe in the Bible. But how do you think we keep our church doors open, or christian schools open, support. Global missions etc. We as churches are not government funded.
Yes I agree with comments on churches living high on the hog so to speak. But like any major organization you will always find examples of fund mismanagement. I look at some of these larger churches and see it as well. Money being spent on the look at us kind of mentality that is worldly desire driven mentality. Most of these funds could have been better spent on other things that churches should be funding i.e. Homless ness, feeding starving people, helping those in need and so on.

there are a lot of possible explainations, did the doctors at the Stollery confirm that it was divine intervention? many people have had their cancer go into remission or seem to disappear altogether. the only ones that say it it God's work are those that choose to believe so.

like Chris said, what of the devout religious people that are stricken with a terrible disease and succumb to it, despite their prayers, as well as those from family and friends?

every year the wall street journal does an article on the top ten companies in the word, and everytime I've ever read it there is one consistency. The #1 money making organization since the inception of time is..............drumroll please...................The Catholic Church, alot of money to be made in jesus, ask Jim Baker
